Peru Passport Information

Peruvian passport is issued by Peruvian Government which is burgundy in color. The Peruvian coat of arms is emblazoned on the front cover of the passport. Above the emblem, the words “Andean Community” and “Republic of Peru” have been engraved. The official passport of Peruvian Government is called the “Andean Passport”. While applying for the Andean passport, along with the filled out application form for the Andean passport, the documents to be attached are birth certificate, proof of Peruvian citizenship, certificate of identity, passport size photographs, self addressed envelope and the passport processing fee. The Andean passport is similar to many other passports issued by world countries. The Andean passport in provided in the form of pass book which has round edges. The passport measures 88 ml by 125 ml. In addition to the above fact, the Andean passport is a machine-readable passport and there is a zone in the passport where the information is printed on paper in the form of alphanumerical characters. This is swiftly read through optical character recognition. Further the time consumed by the Immigration agents to process this document is so fast that there is no option for manual input of information in the system.
